At GCSE we have seen a significant increase in our 5 A*-C including English and maths figure, with 84% entries achieving a C or higher in GCSE English. There were outstanding results in a wide range of subjects. Particular congratulations go to Jonathan Beedell, Jesel Patel and Stewart Holloway who achieved 29 A* grades between them.

A level results were also excellent. The majority of our Year 13 students are going on to study at their first choice university, many of these being at Russell Group Universities. These include students who will study physics at Durham, theoretical physics at Imperial College, London, natural sciences at Nottingham, history at Warwick and medicine at Exeter.

Mr Bennett, Principal, said,

“Well done to all our students on achieving very good results. They are the reward for much hard work and determination over many years. We wish all our students every success and happiness as they move onto the next phase of their education.”

Mrs Lea, Associate Principal, said,

“We have seen students at all levels achieving more than they thought possible. We are particularly pleased that our students are gaining good grades in English and Maths. They can now move onto their next steps with confidence  and pride with what they have achieved.”
